Engaging with the San Marino Pavilion on Future Cooperation

The manuscript of "The Life of San Marino" is the oldest existing San Marino document, dating back to the 3rd–4th centuries AD, and has been included in UNESCO's Memory of the World Register. This text vividly records the legendary journey of Dalmatian stonemason Marinus, who moved from the island of Rab to Mount Titano and laid the foundation of the Republic of San Marino, embodying exceptional historical and cultural value. The addition of this artifact enriches the Expo Museum's collection, strengthens the friendship between both parties, and offers visitors a unique window into San Marino's history and the spirit of World Expos.

San Marino shares a profound connection with the Expo Museum. During the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, the San Marino Pavilion donated its significant exhibit—the Statue of Liberty—to our museum. The statue is now displayed in the permanent exhibition hall of the Expo Museum.
