EXPO 2017 launches 2 centers

On December 23, 2016 JSC “NC “Astana EXPO-2017” presented the Accreditation Center and One-Stop Service Center to the participants of EXPO-2017.

At the beginning of the event the media was presented One-Stop Service Center for the participants.Director of the Maintenance Service Department of the national company DiyasAzbergenov talked in detail about functional capacities of the Centre.

“One-Stop Service Center (OSSC), working around the clock based on the principle of “one contact”, was created to serve the official participants, Offices of Section Commissioners and their staff by the organizer of the International Specialized Exhibition EXPO-2017.The Center will have the representatives of government agencies and other organizations, including agencies of internal affairs, customs authority and tax authority, which will be timely and effectively providing appropriate types of public and other services,” said D. Azbergenov.

The OSSC will provide services such as visa support, migration registration, taxation, customs matters, proprietary rights, sanitary and epidemiological control and use of the radio frequency spectrum of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Also, the partner of JSC Kazkommertsbank will provide the relevant banking services.In addition, in the OSSC the registered participants may get insurance, logistics, consulting, notary and translation services, as well as air tickets booking and express mail services.

The next stage of the event was the presentation of the Accreditation Centre, about which activity the Director of Operational Control and Risk Management Department of JSC “NC “Astana EXPO-2017” MarkenAkhmetov talked.

“The accreditation system was launched in December this year.Henceforth, all persons wishing to enter the territory and individual subjects of the Exhibition need online registration and special examination by the law enforcement agencies of Kazakhstan.This will provide additional safety of the whole event during the preparation and hosting,” noted M. Akhmetov.

To ensure unimpaired functioning of the Accreditation Centre, we applied international experience in the organization and launch of accreditation systems.

Upon completion of the presentation activity, the speakers answered to all questions of media.

It is to be recalled that the International Specialized Exhibition will be held in Astana from 10 June to 10 September 2017, during which it is expected to host 5 million visits.
